What is our vision for innovation in social prescribing?
At the centre of our innovation work, are 3 key aims. We aim to:
- Amplify voices across the social prescribing system, celebrating innovative practice and defining what ‘good’/’quality’ looks like.
- Support the VCSE sector and wider social prescribing system to scale and spread social prescribing, bringing together organisations who can support each other to overcome challenges collaboratively.
- Support organisations with building the knowledge, connections and skills they need to apply innovation in their organisation/sector.

Innovation Network
Our Innovation Network brings together national and regional voluntary organisations, public sector organisations and social enterprises to empower you to develop your social prescribing offer, overcome challenges and create new opportunities.
Skillshare
Our Skillshare programme provides you with the core knowledge and skills in social prescribing, to develop apply innovative approaches. This highly unique opportunity connects you with expert tutors, online modules, and a collaborative learning community.
Social Prescribing Innovation Hub
The Innovation Hub is an online space dedicated to encouraging and supporting creativity, collaboration and transformational activity in social prescribing.
We want to make it easier to connect you with the information you need to develop innovation in social prescribing. So, we have developed the hub to feature examples of innovation and transformation from across the social prescribing system, in one place which are summarised and easy to find. These examples aim to inspire your own innovation journey and help to inform your practice.
