24/10/2024 NASP and Race Equality Foundation webinar: Social prescribing and health inequalities amongst Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic communities

In this joint session, the Race Equality Foundation presented the findings of their new report Social Prescribing, Health Inequalities and Black, Asian and Minoritised Ethnic Communities. The session focused on social prescribing data gathered from Kirklees in West Yorkshire and Islington in London, as well as lessons learned in other areas of the country.

This sessions will be of interest to commissioners, health and voluntary sector professionals, link workers and researchers, among others. It will showcase the importance of culturally competent provision, targeted community engagement, and quality data collection and analysis to drive better health outcomes and improve access to services for minoritised ethnic communities.
