We are delighted to share our Annual Report for 2023-2024.
It is now almost five years since we were formally established, and since the NHS Long Term Plan committed to rolling out social prescribing across England.
During that time there has been huge progress across the movement. There are now over 3,600 Social Prescribing Link Workers in post in GP Practices across England, and many more across the wider NHS and community. Social prescribing has been enshrined in national policy and there are an extraordinary range of innovative projects and programmes across the county, many of which we have supported over the last year.
At this time of change - with a new Government and also new leadership at NASP - we look forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead.
