E-learning for link workers
NHS England offers a free online course for link workers which includes the core elements and skills required to do the job and deliver social prescribing as part of a PCN multidisciplinary team.
ARRS roles training
The Personalised Care Institute offers training for Social Prescribing Link Workers, health and wellbeing coaches and care co-ordinators, some of which is free of charge. This training is designed to ensure those working in ARRS roles are equipped with the knowledge, skills and expertise to carry out their roles safely and effectively, as outlined in the Personalised Care Core Curriculum.
Heritage and Social Prescribing
This module supports Social Prescribing Link Workers and similar roles to better understand the positive impact of heritage and to connect people to a wide range of groups, activities and experiences. The programme aims to ensure that more people can engage with the benefits of heritage projects, contributing to improved wellbeing and stronger, more connected communities.
