NASP Link Worker Advisory Group
Social Prescribing Link Workers (SPLW) are essential in supporting people in communities by taking a holistic and ‘what matters to you’ approach to improving health and wellbeing. At NASP, it is essential to hear directly from SPLWs about their experience, insights and priorities to ensure their voice is represented across all our work.
NASP’s Link Worker Advisory Group (LWAG) brings together experienced link workers who advise on the design, implementation, and development of strategic programming and resources by offering frontline perspectives and feedback.
Over the past several years, the LWAG has been instrumental in developing and co-producing key resources that support the social prescribing workforce, including our Link Worker Induction Guide, Training Roadmap, a variety of e-learning and training modules, and more.
Link workers contribute their skills, knowledge, and expertise to support a variety of NASPs workstreams. They work closely with our Healthcare Integration Team to ensure that voices of other Link Workers are represented throughout NASP’s work.
