Hi all, my name is Thomas Monaghan and I work at Citizens Advice Northumberland as Fundraising Bid Writer. As an organisation we are passionate about social prescribing so I decided to join the network to enhance understanding and to share learning. Looking forward to getting to know more of you through the network!

Hi Thomas, how are you doing? How’s things with Covid? Have you been able to engage people online? When are you planning to get back to face to face? We’re waiting to hear about a TC bid. Not heard a thing yet…

        Hi Pru,

Great to hear from you! We are still able to operate across our digital and telephone platforms, as well as face to face for those who require that on an appointment basis. In alignment with the lockdown restrictions, we intend on opening fully from Monday 12th April 2021 which is exciting!
With regards to the TC bid, sorry to hear you have not heard back – I believe there is a formal announcement of those who were successful at 1pm today online https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/thriving-communities-fund#section-4.

Yes it will be good to see people in person again although I think we’ve learnt so much and reached people we hadn’t managed to before online, so small mercies I guess. We’re running lots of online art and craft classes and it’s really good actually. We’ve lost a lot of artists though, simply can’t adapt to digital or just too much going on at home.

Ooh, okay I’ll watch out for that this afternoon, thanks for letting me know.

      Hi I’m Ali,

I’m a Clinical Psychologist, Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher and Children’s Yoga Therapist. I’m just in the process of setting up a CIC focusing on mental health and wellbeing (which I think is going to be really important in the aftermath of COVID). I’m looking to find out more about social prescribing and hopefully to find some opportunities for collaborating with some social prescribing projects.
