A message from Intergenerational Music Making:

      Hello,
I hope you are staying safe and well. I’m Lotty the social media, marketing and PR coordinator for Intergenerational Music Making. IMM is one of the UK’s pioneers of intergenerational music projects bringing together local schools, care homes, colleges, hospitals and universities to create exciting and meaningful music projects aimed to improve wellbeing, mental health, tackle loneliness and help integrate local communities.

IMM and Care England have partnered to create Together with Music. The aim is to connect every care home in the UK with a school, choir, orchestra or community group to share songs, connect and fight loneliness in these tough times. Any group can sign up to be a part of this amazing movement of positivity and connection and join the first UK wide Map of Intergenerational connection.

After a soft launch in late last year, we would now love to invite you to the public celebration of the launch of Together with Music which is a free webinar on Thursday 4th March at 2pm-3pm. Where we will be discussing Intergenerational practice, music in health, care and education with an esteemed panel of guests. You can sign up for a place via the link below, and also find the poster attached.

We have just hit 400 Together with Music members and already lots of wonderful intergenerational connections are being made. We already have the most wonderful stories from older people, care homes, school children and community groups that we would love to share far and wide. Find one of these connections in the video below:

We hope to see you there!

All the best and stay safe,
      Lotty Holder lotty@imm-music.com
