Event overview
All our webinars have closed captions and live BSL interpretation as standard.
This webinar will share new findings from a year-long research project exploring the potential for greater community involvement in and leadership of social prescribing in England. The research was commissioned by Local Trust and conducted by the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) at Sheffield Hallam University and the National Academy for Social Prescribing (NASP).
It focussed on three questions:
- What is ‘community-led social prescribing’ and how does it differ from other models of social prescribing?
- What are the barriers and enablers to community involvement in social prescribing?
- What are the benefits of community involvement in social prescribing, from the perspective of different stakeholders?
